Session Information

This session aims to explore recent advances in flexible and stretchable optoelectronic devices and circuits, which are becoming essential technologies for emerging applications such as soft robotics, adaptive displays, and conformable sensing systems. These systems offer mechanical adaptability while maintaining reliable electronic and optical performance under deformation, strain and bending conditions. Topics of interest include but are not limited to innovative material design and integration (e.g., organic semiconductors, hybrid materials, nanocomposites), stretchable light-emitting devices, photodetectors, photovoltaics, deformable circuits, interface and mechanical engineering, 3D microfabrication, printed electronics, and strategies for improving device stability and performance under mechanical stress. Discussions will also cover fundamental aspects such as charge transport, mechanical-electrical coupling, and system-level integration.
Bringing together researchers from materials science, applied physics, and electrical engineering, this session promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and highlights experimental and theoretical advances in the fields. Participants will gain insights into the key material and device innovations driving the next generation of high-performance, mechanically resilient optoelectronic systems.
