Session Information

Electromagnetic metasurfaces, particularly the reconfigurable and programmable varieties, have garnered substantial research interest due to their robust capabilities in electromagnetic wave manipulation and their extensive potential applications. In this session, we will focus on the fundamental physics, design methodologies, and applications of microwave and millimeter-wave programmable metasurfaces. Topics of interest include the principles of coding metasurfaces and programmable metasurfaces, metasurfaces for dynamic beamforming and beam steering, as well as their applications in imaging, holography, wireless communication, integrated sensing and communication, and more.
