Session Information

Metasurfaces and metagratings, the rising field involving optics, electromagnetism and acoustics, have shown revolutionary capabilities for precise wave control at subwavelength and wavelength scales, enabling new physics and unprecedented applications beyond conventional optics. This session aims to share innovative ideas and insightful understanding of metasurfaces and metagratings, exploring both novel principles and practical applications for these structures. Topics include, but are not limited to:
  • Advanced wavefront manipulation
  • Complex light-field generation
  • Efficient and broadband absorption
  • Hologram and polarization control
  • Frequency and angular dispersion engineering
  • Novel applications of disordered metasurfaces
  • Diffraction control and applications

  • We hope this session can provide a comprehensive overview of the latest advancements and emerging trends in this rapidly evolving field of wave physics and metasurface research.
