Session Information

Topologically structured modes can be generated in laser beams either directly from laser cavities or by external mode converters. However, recently, structured mode generation directly from laser cavities has seen tremendous interest owing to cost-effective, compact and reduced complex experimental setups and delivers structured modes with high mode purity.
The aim of this session is to gather structured laser specialists and to deliver the talks on the recent development in the topological structured laser sources. This session will include talks on experimentally structured laser sources and their advantages in applications related to fundamental optics, optical communications, light-matter interaction, biophotonics, etc.
