Session Information

Sensors are the interface between the analog and the digital world. Optical sensors have the advantage that the objects to be sensed do not necessarily need to be in physical contact with the sensors.

The advent of signal processing and artificial intelligence has a very significant impact on the applicability of (optical) sensors. Sensor fusion increases the amount of information that can be gathered and processed.

In this session, both fundamental and applied aspects of optical sensors and sensor systems, in combination with AI, will be addressed.

Submitted Articles

Note: The following submitted articles are not guaranteed to be scheduled in the final program at this stage. The final presentation type and arranged session will be decided by Technical Program Committee.
